Narmada Extrusions Limited (NEL) is one of the largest manufacturers of HDPE/PP woven sacks in India. Established in 1984 by the Mittal family of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, NEL has entrenched itself as one of the most trusted names in the woven sacks industry, with a capacity to produce over 150 million bags annually. Working in close consideration with its brand pillars: Quality, Trust, Transparency and Advancement, NEL is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest quality product and is continually incorporating newer and more progressive models of manufacturing to achieve the same.
The company overlooks two divisions within the industry –
1. Manufacturing of HDPE/PP sacks, and
2. Trading of HDPE/PP granules
NEL is also the official Del Credere Agent (DCA) & Consignment Stockist (CS) for HMEL (M.P), GAIL (M.P. and Chhattisgarh), and BCPL (M.P and Chattisgarh).

When I founded NEL, 35 years ago, I envisioned a product that would be relevant not only in present times but also in the decades to come. The organization has since then grown several folds in terms of members, machinery and capacity to produce. My personal and professional goals were intertwined from the start as I was still finding my footing in the industry, as a mere 21-year-old. That remains unchanged as it has proven to be my key to success. Working in the service industry, it is imperative to put the needs of your client first and ensure that the product is thoroughly scrutinized at every step of the way so you only churn out the best into the market. That is the rule-of-thumb in the NEL family. We work hard to ensure our clients are satisfied, which goes beyond delivering an order successfully; the true success of a corporation is judged by the retention rate of its customers that can only be achieved by a full-service company, from start to finish.

Mr. O.P. Mittal has been closely involved with the company since its inception. Serving as the company’s leader and an ardent advisor, he has played a pivotal role in NEL’s progress, helping it take shape over thirty-five years. He possesses vast and wide-ranging expertise across the departments of Finance and Accounts, which are his specialities and also his key roles at NEL. Mr O.P Mittal has been an active part of the Rotary Club for over 30 years and has also served as the President of the Rotary Club of Indore District from 1990-1991 and Assistant Governor from 2002-2003.

Mr. Pravin Mittal is the visionary and founder of NEL. He founded the company as a young entrepreneur-cum-student pursuing an MBA degree in 1984. It was his foresightedness, ambition, and discipline that has led NEL to where it stands today. A highly qualified individual, Mr. Pravin Mittal has an MSc. and an MBA (Marketing). He is one of the leading industrialists of Indore and has also been a proactive member of the world-renowned Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) for the past 10 years.

Mr. Pranav Mittal joined the organization in 2013, after completing his undergraduate degree in BSc. Business Administration (Hons.) from Lancaster University, U.K., and attaining an MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship from UCL, U.K. Prior to joining NEL, he worked with a FinTech company in London, wherein he learned about newer and more finessed standards of working, along with the machine-first model of conducting business. He currently heads the operations division at the company’s plant in Pithampur, M.P. He is also a member of the prestigious Young Leaders Council (YLC), which is constituted by the All India Management Association (AIMA).

Business Development Executive
Mr. Varun Mittal joined the organization in 2019 and is the latest member of the NEL family. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management, with a major in Finance and Management Information Systems from Boston University, U.S.A. He worked with the organization as a management trainee for a year before pursuing his Masters in Engineering Business Management at the University of Bath, U.K. He is currently responsible for revamping the entire organization with a focus on digital and technological aspects. He is also leading the company into exploring newer verticals globally.
